Steve Alan Kaufman (December 29, 1960 - February 12, 2010) has joined the world of Pop Art when he met the pop icon Andy Warhol at Studio 54 in New York. At 19 he became the assistant to Andy Warhol producing paintings and silkscreens at Warhol’s studio, The Factory, for $ 6 per hour.

Kaufman has sold her paintings to VIP as Calvin Klein and Steve Rubell and participated in art exhibitions together with the Pop-artist Keith Haring he'd known since both were attending the School of Visual Arts.

The works of Kaufamn are collected by Wolfgang Puck, John Travolta, Muhammad Ali, Mickey Mantle, Citibank, Frank Sinatra, Whoopi Goldberg and others.
